Travel
Nelson is situated at the top end of the South Island of New Zealand. If you are flying internationally then you will need to book a flight into Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington and then get a domestic connecting flight to Nelson. Alternatively you could land in Christchurch and hire a car or a campervan. It takes about 6 hours to drive from Christchurch.
